Our cruising programme for 2008 is below, with links to relevant passage plans.

For details of social events, please see Social page.  The next social event is the Fitting Out Supper which will take place in the Spring.  Details will be published under Social in due course.

Cruising programme 2008.

·     22^nd — 24^th  March — Easter shakedown cruise— Ipswich.  Good Friday for victualling and fettling.  Depart Sat. Lord Nelson and curry all round.

·     12^th – 13^th April -  Day Sails.

·     26^th – 27^th April — Bradwell. Anyone for the Green Man?

·     10^th – 11^th May —Burnham—on—Crouch.  For those that like it rough—sometimes very rough!!

·     24^th – 26^th May —Southwold. The other Lord Nelson!  Provided there is room in the harbour, of course.

·     1st - 2nd   June – Day Sails.

·     14^th – 29^th June - European Cruise. —  Ijmuiden, Hoorn, Marken, Amsterdam, Gouda, Dordrecht, Willemstadt, Hellevoetsluis, Zeebrugge. (Itinery)

·     12^th – 13^th July —Brightlingsea/ Pyfleet. -  Provided it’s warm (no marina and maybe no shore power).

·     19^th — 20^th  July -  Ore/Alde. - Castle ruins and closed pubs.  Bring plenty of supplies.

·     26^th – 27^th July — Burnham or Ramsgate. – For the hardier souls that survived the last one.

·     2^nd – 3^rd  August — Deben. -  Havens of peace and tranquillity.  Pubs too!! incorporating the Barbecue, details from Kevin or Jenny on 01255 870949.  Non boat owners please contact Kevin or Jenny for directions and accommodation options.

·     22^nd – 25^th  August — Bank holiday -  Nieuwpoort or Calais.  Depart on Friday evening. Return Monday Weather permitting.

If you have any suggestions or requests for alternative cruising destinations – please let Kevin Hall know.

It would be helpful if you could let Kevin or Mike know if you intend coming on these events as soon as possible as berthing can sometimes be a problem.
