President.

It is with great sadness that I have to report the passing of our President, Jack.

As recently as July, he was sailing with us in Holland, and although obviously in great discomfort, he continued to inspire us all with his humour and leadership. He has left a void that cannot be filled, and it is proposed that the post remains vacant indefinitely.

Commodore.

Mike Doogan, one of the founder members of the club and a mainstay ever since, has offered boundless enthusiasm and energy. Willing to help anyone at any time, since retiring he has even been known to provide antifouling services to other members, (the mark of a true friend).

He has worked tirelessly to engender and retain the spirit of the club, always looking to bring in new members and fresh ideas, he, more than anybody, has ensured the success of the club to date.

Treasurer.

John Lennard looks after the (sometimes parlous) finances of the club. Performing annual miracles to ensure we have funding to cover the essential administration, John also is a stalwart of our sailing activities.

Unshakeable and ever willing to provide a much needed hand, even willing to undertake transfers at sea, John is a much valued and sought after crew, often pulled in several directions at once by very grateful skippers.

Vice Commodore (Cruising).

Kevin Hall plans the cruising programme for the Club, so when there are no berths, no crew, and the tides are wrong, it is all his fault!
