Easter 2005 Southwold 2005 Southwold 2 2005 European Cruise 2005 Ramsgate 2005 Barbecue 2005 Nieuwpoort 2005 Burnham 2005

Into our third full year of cruising and we welcomed more new regular participants to the cruising programme.

Adrian and Deborah Cole having taken delivery of their  new Bavaria Match 35, "Mrs. C", were to participate in nearly all our cruising events during the year.  Little did they know that they would have to spend 90% of the time reefed so the others could keep up, (serves them right for sailing a missile, I say).

With our most ambitious programme to date, including a passage exceeding 24 hours to Amsterdam at the beginning of our European Cruise, more boats and people became involved than ever before.

The club completed over 1100 miles, with two trips across the North Sea, maximum winds of force 8 (with the wind behind, the fastest trip ever to Burnham) and we finally got to Southwold (twice).
